Returns and Exchanges

At Feather and Fibre, we want you to love every item you bring into your home. If something isn’t quite right, we’re here to help. Our returns process is simple, transparent, and designed to give you peace of mind.

Change of Mind Returns

We offer 7‑day change‑of‑mind returns on all full‑priced items.


To be eligible for a return:

  1. Items must be unused, unwashed, and in original condition

  2. Packaging, tags, inserts, and bags must be intact

  3. The item must be in a resellable condition

  4. Return shipping cost is the responsibility of the customer

  5. Once we receive your return, we’ll process a store credit within 3–5 business days.

For health & hygiene reasons, used or opened bedding cannot be accepted unless faulty.

Exchanges

If you ordered the wrong size or colour, no problem - we’re happy to arrange an exchange.

How it works:

  1. Send the original item back to us in unused, original condition

  2. We’ll dispatch your replacement as soon as the return is received

  3. If the replacement item has a price difference, we’ll adjust your refund or invoice accordingly

 

If you need your new item quickly, you’re welcome to place a fresh order and return the original for a refund.

Faulty or Damaged Items

We stand behind the quality of our bedding. If your item is faulty, damaged, or not as described, we’ll replace or refund it in line with Australian Consumer Law.


If you believe your item is faulty:

  1. Email us at: angela@avinki.co.nz

  2. Include your order number and clear photos of the issue

  3. Angela will review and organise a replacement, refund, or resolution

There is no cost to you for returning a faulty product.

Final Sale & Last Chance Items

Items marked Last Chance Deals or Final Sale are not eligible for change‑of‑mind returns or exchanges unless faulty.

How to Start a Return

Just send us a message with:

  1. Your order number

  2. The item(s) you’d like to return

  3. The reason for the return

  4. Whether you prefer a refund or store credit
